Job Description

Our company is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee the procurement activities for our franchise in Medina, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management. As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services. You will also be responsible for managing inventory levels and optimizing procurement processes to achieve cost savings and efficiency. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and negotiation skills, as well as excellent communication and organizational abilities. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the growth and success of our franchise.Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the franchises goals and objectives
  2. Identify and source potential suppliers, and evaluate their capabilities and suitability
  3. Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers, ensuring the best possible price, quality, and delivery terms
  4. Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers, resolving any issues or disputes that may arise
  5. Monitor and analyze market trends and conditions to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and develop strategies to meet them
  7. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as legal and regulatory requirements
  8. Manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock levels while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory
  9. Develop and maintain effective procurement systems and processes, including the use of technology and automation
  10. Monitor and report on key procurement performance indicators, such as cost savings, supplier performance, and delivery times
Preferred Candidate:
  1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management
  2. A degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
  3. Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  5. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  6. Experience with procurement software and tools
  7. Knowledge of local market conditions and suppliers in Medina, Saudi Arabia
  8. Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement
  9. Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  10. Strong organizational and time management skills
