Job Description

Reporting to the Head of School, the HR Manager is responsible to deliver effective and impactful human resource services to the leadership and employees of Madac. He/She plays a crucial role in the execution of the HR Strategy and objectives, partnering with the line managers.The HR Manager advises and delivers support in areas of performance management, training, recruitment, employee and leadership development, internal communication, succession planning, employee relations and grievance handling. The HR Manager works collaboratively with the senior leaders to maintain accurate administration, tracking , employee records, data for personnel files. He/she is expected to provide creative solutions to support a positive values based work environment in an internationalsetting.Responsibilities

  • To deliver HR services using standardized best in class HR processes with a strong focus on supporting a values based inclusive international working environment
  • Act as a single point of contact for employees and management to mediate and/or coach staff to find an amicable solution
  • Responsible to understand the business issues and implement HR programs that improve effectiveness
  • Deliver the payroll accurately and on time
  • Maintain time and attendance accurately
  • Analyze a broad range of HR data to identify valid insights and convert these insights into recommendations the foundation can use to make decisions.
  • Evaluate the impact of proposed changes on employees and manage change to minimize disruption.
  • Collaborate with managers to design organizational structures, define job roles, search and retain talent according to the foundation?s needs.
  • Maintain current knowledge of local legislation and participate in developing appropriate an HR policies and procedures manual for staff
  • Track HR measures and metrics that aid decision making and develop insights towards goal achievement
  • Participate in the development of the annual workforce strategy (HR strategic plan)budget and recommend best in class creative improvements that make Madac unique
  • Create a network and build collaboration with HR colleagues within the International Schools Eco System
  • Participate in the creation of clear, concise, and standardized mechanisms for reporting data and findings to the Head of School, including dashboards indicators.
  • Support all managers on HR and people management practices.
  • Any other assignment given by the Head of School
