Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Facility Management Engineer to join our team in Medina, Saudi Arabia. As a Facility Management Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of our facilities, ensuring they are in optimal condition and compliant with all safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the maintenance and operation of all facilities, including mechanical systems, electrical systems, and plumbing systems
  2. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the longevity and efficiency of our facilities
  3. Oversee the work of maintenance technicians and contractors, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards
  4. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify any maintenance or repair needs
  5. Create and manage the facility budget, ensuring all expenses are accounted for and within budgetary constraints
  6. Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services
  7. Develop and implement emergency response plans to address any facility-related emergencies
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in facility management
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility management or a related field
  3. Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures
  4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
  5. Experience managing budgets and financial resources
  6. Strong leadership and management skills
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  9. Knowledge of local safety and regulatory standards
