Asst. Engineering ManagerWe are looking for a Asst. Engineering Manager to Direct and control the engineering activities and manage the engineering team, helping them improve their skills. What you will be doing:

• Supervises and participated in:
  • Installing, maintaining, repairing and operating hotel machinery, equipment and related systems
  • Fabricating, maintaining, installing or repairing plumping and sanitary facilities.
  • Painting and varnishing surface, trimmings and fixtures of the building and other structures
• Implements preventive maintenance and repair schedules for all hotel complex, machinery, equipment and other facilities
• Assist Chief Engineer in developing and implementing cost reduction, work simplification methods and techniques and improvement programs
• General maintenance of the building
• Maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical and others
• Handle trouble shooting
• Prepares andor recommends requisitioningordering pertaining to maintenance of equipment, materials and supplies.
• Participates in the execution of new projects including planning and costing
• Prepares work schedules
• Holds regular communication meetings with the staff and other departments
• Maintains discipline amongst the engineering staff
• Ensures the implementation of all instructions given by the Chief Engineer
• Conducts all routine inspections of the entire building including mechanical areas along with Chief Engineer
• Supervise the implementation of all maintenance contracts
• Carries out fire brigade duties as required in coordination with security department
• Initiates energy and water conservation plans, as per Accor?s environmental charter
• Responds quickly to guest request complaints ensuring courteous, professional service.
• Ensures that health, hygiene and safety regulations are complied with and applied in the hotel in compliance with HACCP standards and procedures set by the Dubai Municipality

• To ensure kitchen work practices reflect written procedures.
• To conduct inspections for Bars/Restaurants and Receiving to ensure City Municipality regulations are being adhered to.

• Manage and maintain food safety documentation and records

• Monitor and check the personal hygiene conditions & working habits of the staff.

• Maintaining Environment Health and Safety standards in the hotel as per local guidelines

• Complete and provides regular internal audit reports

• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
• To laterally coordinate with concerned departments in day to day activities.

Your experience and skills include:

• Saudi Nationality
• 3-6 years of experience in the same field
• Electrical engineering or Mechanical engineering Bachelor degree
• SCE Certificate
• Highly responsible, organized & reliable
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
