To check list of ELEMENTS TO BE INSPECTED (EI) (Form # QMPF?38?EI?R02) and WIR?s/MIR?s draft related documents submitted by construction team (latest and approved Shop drawings, Design drawings, ITP, ICL ?etc.).
To coordinate with construction team to conduct the pre inspection on site, Inform findings / defects to the Construction by recording on the WIR?s draft attachment sheet and taking acknowledgment on the original, then give feedback to the QC Section Head to submit form # 39 to SC.
To arrange with QC Senior Engineer and SC until the WIRs/MIRs inspected as per agreed timing.
To liaise closely with Construction to get the work rectified, re-inspected and coordinate promptly with the QC Senior Engineer and SC accordingly in this regard.
To liaise with QC Senior Engineer, Construction approved independent test laboratories and SC regarding any testing on Site (area assigned).
To be vigilant and proactive on Site, pick-up deficiencies, faults, non-compliance etc. of any work on the job Site and report immediately to the Construction and QC Senior Engineer and initiate the action to get it corrected / rectified (in accordance to the Project requirements) prior to getting it covered up.
To ensure that no WIR is pending and to be acted upon it within 48 hours.
To liaise with QC Senior Engineer case of any difficulty / problems / issues / clarification / information related to work / inspections.
To ensure that ?SAFETY? is practiced on Site at all times. Any safety hazard noticed shall be immediately reported to the Safety Officer and concerned personnel on Site. Initiate to rectify / clear the safety hazard.
Conduct daily Site Inspections / walk-throughs to monitor construction activities for compliance with contract documents, in case of Non-conformity he will give the site Engineer verbal instructions to rectify the violations within 24 hr. If no response Site observation (S.O) will be raised.
To follow the root causes of Non-conformity (SI-NCR-SO-INCR) and ensure that the corrective action is implemented by concerned parties, then coordinate with the QC Senior Engineer to close the Non-Conformity report, to ensure that the risks and opportunities has been determined and addressed to avoid any similar violations to avoid any similar violations.
Monitor storage area and take necessary action to prevent damage.
To prepare daily QC report and submit to the QC Senior Engineer not later than 9 am next day without delay.
Attend weekly meeting with QC Senior Engineer and monthly meeting with QC Manager.
Qualification:
Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering Curriculum with major emphasize on quality control.
Certified Lead Assessor, Quality Auditor or equivalent
Affiliation to Saudi Council of Engineers.
Certified PMP
Minimum 5-6 years for Engineer related work experience construction specially in Civil QA/QC assignment.
