- Performs laboratory procedures i.e. hematology, biochemistry, serology, urine analysis etc. in the laboratory services department.- Perform venipuncture on micro sample collection of blood samples, which include sole responsibility for insuring proper patient identification.- Assist laboratory personnel in solving technical and proficiency problems.- Perform preventive maintenance on all instrumentation and equipment.- Review all proficiency testing results with the Chief of Laboratory Services.- Assist in the accumulation of the laboratory statistical reports.- Observe body substances isolation procedures at all times.- Maintain cleanliness and organization of any work area in the laboratory services where assigned.- Prepare, label, dispense and store all prepared solutions as required.
