Job Description

One of the largest 5 star hotels in Makkah is currently searching for a certified Boiler Technician.Tasks & Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for all the systems that generate heat or electricity. To Monitor equipment?s such as Boiler Lower pressure, high pressure, Hot water boiler and Steam boiler etc.
  2. Observes pressure, temperature, and draft meters on panel to verify specified operation of automatic combustion control systems, feed water regulators, stoker, pulverize, and burners.
  3. Turns valves and adjusts controls to set specified fuel feed, draft openings, water level, and steam pressure of boiler.
  4. Observes boiler and auxiliary units to detect malfunctions and makes repairs, such as changing burners and tightening pipes and fittings.
  5. May test and treat boiler feed water, using specified chemicals. Maintain log of meter and gauge readings and record data, such as water test results and quantity of fuel consumed.
  6. Has the right to receive internal training courses to achieve the standard.
  7. To be familiar with the basic rules of industrial security and occupational health and be an outlet for the rules of occupational health, especially when operating machines and equipment?s.
  8. Inspecting, cleaning, maintain and repairing all mechanical equipment?s, plumbing and its working system.
  9. Maintenance and repair of all mechanical malfunctions and plumbing failures.
  10. Inspection, cleaning, maintenance and repair of the fire network and fire extinguishing equipment.
  11. Application of preventive maintenance program for all equipment.
  12. Always follow safety rules at work.
  13. Supervision program given by Mechanical Engineer.
  14. Maintenance of treatment pumps.
  15. Preserve the cleanliness of the place during work and after completion.
  16. Keep the cleanliness of the uniform and the overall appearance, especially while working in front of guests.
  17. Maintenance of hot and cold-water network, heat generators and heat exchanger.
  18. Sound knowledge of PTW (Permit To Work).
