Job Description

Purpose of the Job:This is a highly mobile role and will work throughout West Africa. The Site Engineer will be a subject matter expert, and should be technically?proficient across the full range of Civil Engineering disciplines, with overall knowledge of how those disciplines integrate with others.Principle Accountabilities

  1. Supervises and coordinates site activities.
  2. Daily control of working practices, including the hours worked and meal times.
  3. Managing client expectations while staying on schedule and within budget
  4. Responsible for all stores that are allocated to the project.
  5. Responsible for all Health and safety on site.
  6. Supervision of plant on site, refueling of plant/vehicles and generators.
  7. Supervision of the workforce.
  8. Report daily to the Project Manger on progress.
  9. Reporting of broken plant/equipment/stores to the Project Manager.
  10. Oversee and co-ordinate materials ordering and delivery to site.
  11. Supervise the installation of all project related utilities to include works.
  12. Supervise concrete works as part of the installation and maintenance of Helo Pads and runways.
