Job Description

Purpose of the JobOversee and manage multiple project sights throughout the region (primarily West Africa). Responsibility overall management of the engineering and construction projects; while providing guidance and technical directions to project staff. The position is in general support of CADG and projects throughout Africa and is expected to initially be based in West Africa.Principle Accountabilities

  1. Manage multiple engineering and construction projects in a given region towards successful completion.
  2. Meeting, both new and existing clients to assess opportunity for developing contracts for CADG while ensuring all works are performed to current clients expectations.
  3. Support the development of Project Budgets and ensuring all projects work within the given budget.
  4. Maintain regular communications with Singapore based Engineering Manager on all project related activities, as well as outstanding requests made to other functional departments (Logistics, HR, BD, etc.).
  5. Conduct regular communications with Singapore HR to identify current and future manpower requirements and the handling of resource allocations.
  6. Coordinate with Project Staff to determine current manpower requirements and re-allocate personnel based on project needs.
  7. Coordination with the Finance Department regarding projects with emphasis on project codes post award, project payment schedules, payment of sub-contractors and financial support towards the smooth running of the operations.
  8. Coordinate with the Logistics Manager to ensure all logistical support requirements for the projects are met. Liaise with Business Development and the Design Team to estimate future logistical requirements
  9. Support the Business Development team on the preparation of Project Proposals and Tenders by provided any requested technical assistance required.
  10. Prepare weekly status reports for Engineering Manager on all projects, expected projects, potential opportunities, and any other updates requested by the Engineering Manager of CADG Senior Management.
  11. Ensure project managers are enforcing all policies, regulations, code of conduct and security procedures at the project sites. Work closely with the Camp Managers and Project Managers to ensure any infractions are handled in accordance with CADG?s disciplinary policy.
  12. All other tasks that may be assigned by CADG Management
