Job Description

Purpose of the JobResponsible for overseeing all Africa based Finance Officers and working with the Singapore based Finance Manager on all Finance related issues.??Principle Accountabilities

  1. Assist the Finance Manager and be the initial Point of Contract for the Project Managers on all finance related issues or tasks.
  2. Support the processing of Purchase Requests, Purchase Orders, and other finance related documents
  3. Oversee Africa based Finance Officers and manage day to day Finance issues that arise
  4. Coordinate with the Operations Team in the development of project related budgets and ensure that sufficient Finance coverage for each project.
  5. Responsible for reviewing cash books and maintaining the local country office?s financial records.
  6. Overseeing and preparation of local payroll and taxes where applicable.
  7. Ensure proper documentation for all costs and expenses incurred for each project.
  8. Assist in monitoring the cash flows for project related activities and country offices.
  9. Maintain proper receipts for all transactions and work with the Singapore Finance team for the preparation of required or directed monthly financial reports.
  10. Support the Operations and Logistics Team in the review and negotiation with local contractors, business, landlords and service providers.
  11. Perform any other task that assigned by the Singapore Office as and when needed.
