Safety Engineer

Job Description

1 - Ensure proper implementation of the company SHE systems across all departments.2 - Ensure compliance to both company & local governmental Safety regulations.3 - Ensure that all incidents and injuries are reported and investigated.4 - Perform regular and irregular site safety inspection.5 - Perform, review and assist in performing site risk assessments for both current and newly developedjobs on regular basis.6 - Perform regular contractor inspection and evaluation for contractors on site.7 - Develop health and safety work procedures in light of the company safety management systems.8 - Prepare site personal protective equipment matrix and ensure its availability.9 - Administer all actions tracked on the action tracking system.10 - Plan and coordinate annual safety training plan.11 - Conduct site safety induction training to all new employees& contractors entering the site.12 - Administer material safety data sheet for all materials introduced in site.13 - Come up with creative solutions for issues arising from different site Audits, Inspections, site tours, near misses and unsafe work condition reports.14 - Implement schedule for site planned inspection.15 - Coordinate risk assessment programs to cover all activities.16 - Work with maintenance department to fulfill maintenance requirements for Fire alarm system as well as the firefighting equipment.17 - Administer the site emergency response plan and coordinate effective test drills.18 - Administer all internal and external formal communications
