Recruitment Officer / Specialist

Job Description

Position Summary:Performs recruitment and selection processes such as sourcing of required manpower, liaising with manpower agencies, posting advertisements, screening and interviewing, administering tests, visa processing, documenting/ recording, joining workers and other related activities while making surethat recruitment policies and procedures are implemented to guarantee that company?s objectives are met.Essential Function:Plans, organizes, and coordinates the recruitment activities; meets with individuals and departments to define position, selection criteria, timelines, etc.Performs initial screening by short-listing applications by reviewing CVs, conducting series of examinations, thorough interviews and background checks to ensure that best candidates are selected to fill the vacancies.Ensures coordination with the internal and external clients to ensure that required recruitment information are disseminated or acquired that can help on the expedition of the worker?s deployment.Safeguards and Handles all documents / records pertaining to Recruitment and Selection to ensure that all data are properlycompiled, kept and updated for reference or further processing.Provides Job Offers to selected applicants in a timely manner constantly monitor their feedback, answer queries while ensuring dissemination of correct information to ensure that optimum assistance is given.Knowledge:Knowledge of Qatar Labor LawKnowledge of Recruitment and Selection methods, processes, and strategiesKnowledge on Job Analysis, Job Descriptions, Job Evaluations and Organizational StructuresKnowledge on Recruitment Procedures / visa processing, legalitiesKnowledge in Job Analysis, Descriptions, SpecificationUnderstanding of the recruitment market place including advertising media, recruitmentconsultancies and direct recruitmentKnowledge in current recruitment trends
