Amaken is currently recruiting for a Regional leading manufacturer of architectural and insulated metal Company, a Sales Manager to join their team in their different countries in Africa.In this exciting role you will:Promotion & Specification of products to Architects, Engineers, Owners, & GeneralContractors, Cooling ContractorsCold call, qualify key opportunities and close business within a defined sales territoryContinue to support current customer base and penetrate new accountsConduct professional seminars and presentationsMeet or exceed all measurable sales objectives and quotasBalance customer needs with corporate objectivesApprox 50% overnight domestic travel This position requires 50% travel within your designated territory and to our office locations (for Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda and Angola)Qualified candidate must have the following skills:4-year University degree/ Having Civil Engineering diploma or being Architecture is an assetMinimum of 5 years direct experience in building material sales.Solid business acumen including the ability to interpret and analyze blueprints, estimate preparation, presentation and proposalHigh level of creativity with strong problem solving skillsExcellent time management skills and ability to juggle multiple prioritiesStrong organizational skills with aggressive follow-through and closing skillsAbility to execute innovative sales approach and territory management skills
