Senior Data Warehouse and ETL Test Engineer

We are currently looking for talented Software Test Automation Engineers to help build a high impact product. You should have the ability to work directly with the business to determine feature requirements and will be considered the subject matter expert on assigned features. The ideal candidate must have a mix of technical strength and business acumen. Candidate must be a strong self-starter and should enjoy collaborating with other team members.Qualifications? 4+ years of experience in software development as a software test engineer, or developer? Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science or related field? Knowledge of Software Quality Assurance methodologies, best practices, and automation tools? Ability to understand complex requirements and write comprehensive and wellstructured test strategy, test plan and translate them into test cases? SQL experience and hands-on ability to apply complex SQL queries for use in data validation? Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret large datasets? Strong communication and analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy? Strong desire for self-development and continuous improvement? Excellent written and oral English communication skillPreferred Qualifications? Knowledge in data warehousing concepts? Database/Data Warehouse / ETL testing experience? Experience with ETL automation tools? Experience in Business Intelligence testing? Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development model? Hands on experience in any Programming LanguageWhat is expected of you and others in this position?? Provide hands on testing and QA expertise across our Data and Analytics products? Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, dependencies, or potential issues? Estimate, prioritize, plan, execute and coordinate all manual and automated testing activities? Track and report defects using appropriate tools? Work with software developers and architects throughout the software development life cycle to develop and implement the software test strategy and plan? Pro-actively identify and communicate risks and opportunities for improvement across all products and test framework? Research New Tools, Technologies, and Testing Processes? Complete work independently. Receive general guidance on new projects?
