The students needs could range from anxiety, depression, deterioration of social skills, suicidal ideations, problems at home and potentially drug and alcohol issues.Main job duties:Assess and identify student needsProvide individual assessments and treatmentProvide brief individual counseling/therapy sessions for studentsProvide psycho educational groups using evidence based practice interventionsSupport students with addressing anxiety associated with attending schoolRefer students to other services as neededConnect students to MH services for ongoing treatmentAttend school meetings during the school day and after school for case coordinationIndividuals in this position would receive ongoing supervision and specialized training.
