Job Purpose Responsible for supervising the testing and sampling of incoming raw material, packaging, bulk, semi-finished products and manufactured products and ensure that all manufactured products meet set quality standards and are safe to sell.Duties And Responsibilities 1. Supervise the sampling; testing and release of produced bulk, semi-finished products and issue Certificate of Analysis to ensure quality of products meet a well-defined set of standards2. Update the stability schedule on a monthly basis, perform and supervise required testing and update related stability templates on system3. Prepare and sign on daily basis the production packaging record4. Supervise and coordinate the inspection, in-process and finished products testing activities executed by QC team. Report to Quality Control Manager all non-conformities and suggest CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions)5. Analyze test results, set weekly analytical testing in coordination with QCM, ensure both packaging and manufacturing processes are conforming with set quality standards. Follow up with QC team to share weekly QC testing plan based on the weekly production plan6. Provide back-up assistance in performing lab testing using different existing technologies and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation issues7. Participate in Test Method Transfer validations and qualifications execution8. In case of export of products, issue the Certificate of Analysis following previously set template and get the Quality Control Managers approval9. Ensure proper data management and data integrity. Perform daily second check of all raw data, sign related Logbooks and lab notebook. Report any deviation to Quality Control Manager10. Upon release of material, update all information related to the Certificate of Analysis on system11. Update on system the bulk shelf life12. Check status of all materials as per stock inventory sent by Quality Control Manager on monthly basis, and take corrective actions accordingly in coordination with the Quality Control Manager. Update status and expiry date of material on system13. Perform on time documentation of all test results and keep track on related documents14. Fill the Batch report with the needed quality information and submit it to Quality Control Manager for approval15. Assist in writing and updating Quality Control Procedures (Statistical Procedures, Analysis Procedures, In process Testing, Finished products analysis, Stability Studies and protocols for finished products, and other Quality Control Procedures including environment).16. Check and update tests methods, specifications and laboratory programs such as stability program, reduced testing program, retained samples, etc.?17. Build and update QC SOPs in coordination with the Quality Control Manager and Quality Assurance Manager18. Monitor QC equipment to ensure proper operation and calibration. Coordinate the calibration of all test equipment and fixtures. Update all logbooks accordingly19. Conduct Cleaning and Analytical Validation of equipment and machines to ensure quality standards are implemented and submit related report to Quality Control Manager20. Monitor reagents, glassware and standards inventory to ensure healthy stock levels. Inform Quality Control Manager in case of stock level decrease21. Participate in investigations following any received complaint, evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action22. Provide direct reports with needed resources/tools and guidance to fulfil their role properly and set their training needs and development plan in coordination with L&DM. Celebrate achievements, highlight people with potential to offer them perspective for growth22. Handle the recall of products. Receive and check defected products and send it to warehouse for donation or waste depending on product quality status23. Assist QCAs in filling reports and submit to Quality Control Manager for review and approval (Out of specification Report OOS, Out of Trend Report OOT, Deviation Incident Report, Change control or risk assessment report, Other reports requested)24. Ensure that safety protocols are in place and followed by the QC staff25. Actively participate in self-inspections in addition to external and internal audits and follow up on needed CAPA to be implemented26. Contribute proactively with the Talent Acquisition Team in filling vacancies timely. Design/update related JD and on-boarding programs and ensure their proper understanding & implementation. Ensure an optimized structure in line with business priorities and performance27. Provide direct reports with needed resources/tools and guidance to fulfill their role properly and set their training needs and development plan in coordination with L&DM. Celebrate achievements, highlight to PCM people with potential to offer them perspective for growth28. Set direct reports annual Business Goals and required competencies and conduct quarterly feedback sessions to appraise their performance. Monitor continuously direct report productivity and take corrective actions in due time. Issue misconducts and enroll under-performers in related program
