Job Description

We are looking for a procurement officer who will be responsible for ensuring adequate inventory levels at all times, anticipating demand and making forecasts.˙KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:˙

  • Maintains the stock coverage level per SKU
  • Stock management on an ongoing basis, studies consumption trends based on the sales figures, and recommends optimal procurement cycle (quantities, frequencies, etc.)˙
  • Sets orders and receipt schedules per supplier˙
  • Follows-up with suppliers on timely delivery˙
  • Collects products and vendors? data needed by the system and creates item codes and various modifications in timely manner˙
  • Creates purchase and return orders on the system and communicates them to suppliers˙
  • Prepare orders forecasts and outflow reports after reviewing sales forecasts from the Sales Team
  • Follow up on the shipping and documentation process with forwarders
  • Follow shipments clearance processes
  • Liaises with the warehouse controller regarding schedules, quantities, stock-related and delivery topics.˙
  • Suggests and fulfills plans to reduce existing over-stock
