Inc.*MATERIAL HANDLER JOB DESCRIPTION*An employee in this position is responsible for supplying and maintaining raw materials and packaging to employees operating an injection molding machine and removing in process and finished goods from the workstation. The required materials and packaging are documented on the written production document. The production document includes instructions describing necessary drying and mixing procedures for the raw material, including use of regrind if permitted.*SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES* *Dries material per production document.*Mixes material, colorant and regrind per production document*Fills machine hopper with correct raw material*Provides required packaging per production document*Empties regrind from grinders and clean grinders*Remove in-process and finished goods from work station*Remove and RTS material and packaging to warehouse at end of job.*Operate forklift*Other related duties as assigned.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*Frequent lifting of 25 to 55 lb. from floor to above shoulder height. Includes lifting up to 100 lb.*Required to perform repetitive bending, stopping and twisting.*Required to stand or walk up to 12 hours per day (depending on shift), with 10 to 15 minutes breaks every two hours.*Involves frequent use of ladders and steps*Good vision required for visual inspection of parts for dirt specs, color variations and swirls, and reading labels and production documents.*Will be required to wear safety glasses and hearing protection.Send resume to candacek@plasticproductsco.comPlastic Products Co.
