We continue to explore new models and programs that build on our legacy of excellence and help students expand their knowledge, direct their passions, and graduate as qualified, engaged leaders.Our Master of Physician Assistant Studies located in West Lebanon, NH, invites applications for the Clinical Faculty.Job Summary:The Master of Physician Assistant Studies program is committed to the training of high-quality clinicians with particular emphasis on primary care for rural and underserved populations. Courses are taught in person on our West Lebanon campus. The program is located only minutes from Dartmouth College and Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center where facilities for clinical simulation and supervised clinical practice experiences are utilized. In addition, there are opportunities to interface with Dartmouth clinicians and faculty from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, including in inter-professional education.As a member of the MPAS faculty, this full-time position requires the individual to possess the knowledge and skills needed to help conduct the curriculum of the PA program. Faculty members are expected to participate in several aspects of the program, including admissions, curriculum design/instruction/evaluation, student evaluation/remediation, and student advising/counseling. Additional assignments may include, but are not limited to, serving on committees within the department and University and small group facilitation.All MPAS faculty appointments report directly to the Program Director of the Franklin Pierce University Master of Physician Assistant Studies Program. Faculty members will maintain good communication and positive/professional working relationships with other faculty, staff, and students.Specific course needs vary by academic term and may include, but are not limited to:

• Clinical course instruction, including Preparation for Clinical Education, Preparation Clinical Practice, Seminars, and oversight of Supervised Clinical Practical Experiences (SCPEs)
• Assist with the administration, organization and development of the clinical education phase of the program, including clinical year calendar and rotation schedule
• Develop and maintain required documentation regarding student evaluations and grades, remediation plans, clinical issues, and other topics related to both clinical sites and clinical year student
• Development and maintenance of clinical site relationships
• Clinical student, site, and preceptor visits
• Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam (PANCE) Preparation
• Didactic instruction in basic science, clinical medicine and other subjects as needed

Experience and Qualifications:

• Masters degree or higher degree in an appropriate field of study (e.g., PA, MD, NP/APRN, Ph.D.)
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience
• Excellent written, verbal, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Clinical teaching and/or coordination experience is also preferred.
• Applicants with clinical teaching or coordination, or significant leadership experience, may be eligible for designation as Director of Clinical Education.
