Hydrelec SARL is seeking a Landscape Architect/Designer with a passion for design and construction of Water features and water treatment plants. The Landscape Designer is responsible for designing and selling large, complex residential and commercial landscape and outdoor living projects by working closely with Hydrelec?s team of Mechanical and Civil Engineers. Being a critical link between the client and their dreams, the goal of the designer is to deliver innovative design, unparalleled customer service and communication, and total client satisfaction.Job Duties and RequirementsCreate and Nurture the Client RelationshipConsult with clients on-site to assess their goals, budget, and timeline.Provide unparalleled customer service through active communication, responsiveness, and attention to detail.Advise, consult, and advocate for the client in all phases of the design/build process.Design & SalesAssess site conditions and client requirements to identify project constraints and opportunities.Work closely with the Engineers to coordinate Architectural design with Mechanical equipment and piping layouts.Design innovative water features and landscapes that exceed customer expectations.Prepare and review designs and options with the client.Project OversightOversee project delivery in conjunction with the Management, Engineer and Construction teams. Identify and solve variances between plan and field conditions.Identify potential improvements and/or additions to the project plan to enhance the clients? satisfaction with their project. Estimate and procure change orders as required.Identify and communicate value-engineering and/or work methods opportunities to improve quality and delivery times.Qualifications Of The Ideal Candidate0-3 years of experience and passion in designing outdoor spaces, including landscapes, swimming pools, and water features.Excellent creative skills and ability to translate customer requirements into design.Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills. Excellent written and spoken English required. Speakers fluent in English and French preferred.Well organized and detail-oriented. Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Impeccable manners and commitment to quality. Must be punctual and maintain a professional appearance.Degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Contracting, Architecture or equivalent experience.Proficiency in computer-aided design software (AutoCAD). Revit, Enscape/Lumion/3DsMax experience preferred.High ethical standards.Must pass a background check.
