A reputable company located inBeirutis seeking to recruit an IT Officer.Main Duties:

Design, implement and provide oversight for an IT security architecture infrastructure and strategy to meet the company?s information and data security requirements.
Respond to alerts and take action to ensure availability of network services and associated infrastructure.
Monitor Network services (LAN/WAN) and liaise with network service providers to manage and resolve WAN incidents and issues.
Provide an escalation point for support teams for operational issues.
Manage incidents using the company?s ITSM Framework and platform (ServiceNow).
Regulate systems maintenance tasks (configuration, patching, policy compliance).
Perform operational procedures including software & hardware configuration, installation and maintenance.
Maintain documentation for system configuration changes.
Configure deploy and support Cisco, Aerohive, WAN technologies and a variety of other network devices.
Ensure that there are no unauthorized assets such as unlicensed copies of software.
Assess proactively potential items of risk and opportunities of vulnerability in the company.
Implement security policies, standards, guidelines and procedures to maintain the security of networks and systems.
Coordinate with service owners to develop improvement plans and ensure compliance.
Ensure authorized access through periodic audits, reporting results with recommended remediation.
Develop security awareness by providing orientation, educational programs and ongoing communication.
