Mike Roman, chief executive officer and chairman, 3MAs a Market Intel Analyst (MIA) you will play a key role in driving an accurate and relevant unconstrained Demand Plan for a 12 month rolling horizon by continuously collecting and interpreting Market Intelligence, in close collaboration with Business Teams, which are then used by other supply chain processes.

  • Leading the regional demand management process,
  • Analyzing historical demand figures and to derive future forecast figures based on them,
  • Collaborating with the business team to record and challenge assumptions and inputs to then translate into forecast figures,
  • Close cooperation with the division leads, sales & marketing functions among others,
  • Exchanging and reviewing information with the M&SC demand planning team via FACT (System) and Demand Synchronization Reviews (DSR),
  • Supporting the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) strategy,
  • Prepare and facilitate the RDA (Regional Demand Alignment) meetings to driving an agreement and plan to execute the actions and decisions made.
Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor?s/Master?s/Apprenticeship degree or higher from an accredited institution,
  • Proven experience of supply chain, operations, and / or logistics experience preferable in Demand Management,
  • Strong communication and active listening skills which include the ability to influence and challenge,
  • Experience in working with multi-echelon hierarchies and senior management inside and across regions/countries,
  • Strong skills in managing pressure and relationships with business, IBP and M&SC demand planning team,
  • High degree of data analytical skills.
