- Economic Security Program OfficerEconomic Security Program Officer* email Description:Main RoleThe Economic Security Program Officer is responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the program activities in emergency, early recovery, and development.Essential Responsibilities and DutiesSupport the implementation of the program components:* Supervise the implementation of EcoSec activities against the annual work-plan, targets, timelines, and result indicators.* Ensure that the selection of beneficiaries is participatory and inclusive.* Lead on and ensure the proper implementation of market assessments, price monitoring, labor market analysis, and social cohesion mapping.* Provide technical support for other team staff/programs in operations related to vulnerability assessment, livelihoods, FI/NFI distribution standards, and the utilization of e-vouchers.* Draft written project updates, project reports, monitoring reports, case studies, or other narrative documents as required; formulate case studies and communication materials.* Assist in program operations i.e initiate procurement and delivery of goods and services; coordinate with the logistics team whenever necessary; draft contracts and agreements.* Manage all relevant CRM requests and reports by providing feedback on requested information or financial statuses.* Manage data cleaning, analysis, and cross-checking of all beneficiaries? data.* Facilitate and support in organizing meetings, workshops, FGDs, interviews, or trainings when required.Support the processes of monitoring and reporting on EcoSec activities:* Develop internal monitoring and operational plans that support program implementation.* Support in the development of relevant monitoring and evaluation tools.* Monitor field-based implementation of the program activities, including providing guidance to field volunteers on assessment, implementation, or monitoring activities.* Ensure systematic documentation and reporting in accordance with LRC DMS? procedures and processes and assist in preparing periodic and ad-hoc reports on operational activities.* Monitor program implementation of partners, stakeholders, and beneficiaries in accordance with agreements, workplans, deliverables, and timelines.* Ensure timely and quality progress and financial reporting by partners in line with agreed schedules and timelines; review reports submitted; provide feedback to partners and donors.* Manage relevant online platforms (GIS, RedRose) and ensure regular updating of data/information related to EcoSec activities.* Coordinate with PMER & CEA officers to ensure adequate program updates are being fed back to support with beneficiary communications.Support the strategic development of the EcoSec program:* Identify opportunities for developing LRC?s capacity in cash, in-kind and/or livelihoods and recommend actions to make use of those opportunities.* Collect and analyze information on context to be used in decision making and interventions.* Develop new programmatic initiatives that are in line with the program strategy.* Draft, or provide technical inputs and feedback to concept papers and proposals.* Support in developing SOPs and manuals for processes under the Cash, in-kind, livelihoods, and market components.Support in mainstreaming the cross-cutting themes across the EcoSec components:* Ensure that relevant thematic issues are mainstreamed in the EcoSec program when necessary.* Ensure that gender, protection, the environment, and other cross-cutting concerns are taken into account in program design, implementation, and reporting.Function Specific Experience* Experience in project management, cash transfer programming, or market-based emergency responses is strongly desired* Sectorial experience in e.g. Food Security of Livelihoods programs, market-based interventions, or cash programming.Industry Related Experience* Previous experience in working with NGOs* Previous experience as an LRC volunteer is an asset* Ensure that activities reflect the needs of specific groups and individuals e.g., elderly, children, and people with disabilities. Education Degree: Bachelor Degree Education Degree Details: - Bachelor?s degree in Development studies, Economics, or Business Administration/Management. Master?s degree is a plus. - Specific trainings in market assessment, food security, economic security, livelihoods, or cash transfer programs are strongly desired. The MEL Manager?s role is also to oversee and ensure coordination of the various technical areas across the MEL staff of the program, and other relevant program staff and components Thursday, 28 April 2022** Job An Outreach Worker is needed in Clemenceau center to identify community mediators for informal dispute resolution and referral, outreach to vulnerable people, according to the criteria of the project, follow up with beneficiaries, and coordinate and collaborate with the center?s staff and the external partners of the association.
