Coordinator of Educational Partnerships and AccessDepartment:Academic AffairsLocation:White Mountains Community College, Berlin CampusPay Range:$61584.64 - $66526.2 Per YearAppointment Type:Covered Full-Time - ExemptPosition Number::W1R00066Work Schedule:37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday **WHITE MOUNTAINS COMMUNITY COLLEGE COORINATOR OF EDUCATIONAL PARTNERSHIPS AND ACCESS FULL-TIME, AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY SALARY RANGE: $61,584.64-$66,526.20**SCOPE OF WORK:To plan, develop, promote, and evaluate partnerships with K-12 schools, faculty, staff and the community to prepare students for post-secondary education and future matriculation at WMCC. Works specifically with WMCC?s dual and concurrent enrollment programs, the Running Start and Early College initiatives, with North Country high schools. This position reports to the Vice President of Academic Affairs.ACCOUNTABILITIES:* Serves as primary liaison with K-12 districts by identifying, cultivating and engaging appropriate connections and partnerships between districts, community partners and college departments by conducting informational visits to high schools to promote the Running Start and Early College initiative. * Develops and delivers college readiness content, which includes giving presentations and facilitating student panels. * Assists with marketing and leads recruitment efforts targeted at growing the number of participants in Running Start and Early College. * Manages and executes matriculation events with area partners in conjunction with Admissions Office staff. * Coordinates unique enrollment streams through credit and non-credit offerings in collaboration with the Business and Training Center. * Promotes summer enrollment activities for current and recent graduates of area high schools. * Works directly with the VPAA and Department Chairs on high school articulation agreements. Assists in the recruitment of high school instructors for the Running Start / Early College programs. * Coordinates exchange of curriculum information between the college faculty and the high school?s Running Start adjunct faculty. Manages data entry of Running Start and Early College registrations. * Coordinates registration, testing, roster distribution, assessment, and final grade paperwork between the College and the high school faculty. * Researches and compiles demographic and market analysis of high school students in specific area high schools. * Evaluates program effectiveness to develop and implement improved methods and outcomes. Analyzes results and recommends actions to achieve goals. * Attends System-wide meetings regarding Running Start and Early College. * Assists the Admissions Office in communicating new information regarding college programs to appropriate high school personnel. * Manages Second Chance Pell Program. * Complies with all college, system, state and federal rules and regulations. * Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education:Bachelor?s degree from a recognized college or university with major study in education, English, mathematics, science, psychology, or other academic discipline. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.Experience:Three years of experience working in education as a teacher, an academic advisor, or an academic or guidance counselor.License/Certification:Valid driver?s license or access to transportation.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master?s degree preferred.RECOMMENDED WORK TRAITS:Considerable knowledge of counseling principles and techniques. Considerable knowledge of learning, behavior, and emotional patterns of young adults. Knowledge of personality, achievement, prognostic, and placement tests and the techniques involved in their use and interpretation. Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques. Ability to maintain rapport with students, faculty, staff and community. Ability to communicate effectively and to prepare written reports. Ability to instruct students, faculty and staff concerning counseling roles and techniques, leadership roles, and human relations.
