Position: Video producer of 5 interview videosRequirement:Location of implementation: across 5 locations in LebanonDuration of assignment: 4 monthsAbout ABAADABAAD? Resource Center for Gender Equality is a UN ECOSOC accredited organization that aims to achieve gender equality as an essential condition to sustainable social and economic development in the MENA region.ABAAD advocates for the development and implementation of policies and laws that enhance women?s effective participation, through a rights-based approach that would bring about tangible change to gender justice.With the purpose of ending gender-based violence, ABAAD adopts a holistic care approach to provide protection and support services to GBV survivors/right holders during times of peace, war and disasters since 2011.About the projectABAAD, through the REFORM project, intends to strengthen national systems capacities to enhance protection and mitigation of gender-based violence (GBV) against women and girls in Lebanon among refugees and vulnerable host communities, and to contribute to supporting vulnerable groups in displacement situations to be capacitated and empowered to move out of dependency on aid and choose a durable solution, as appropriate. This project will also ensure opportunities for development, prevention, safety, and protection for women and girl survivors and at-risk of GBV in Lebanon through addressing and enhancing their abilities to cope with adversity, mitigate and deconstruct conflict in their direct environments and communities, and tackle the legislative frameworks and policies that affect them directly.Overall goal of this assignmentThe overall goal of this assignment is to develop 5 videos based on interviews with 5 selected interviewees.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop 5 videos based on interviews with 5 selected interviewees.- The production company will develop a script for each episode and submit it to the ABAAD teams review prior to filming.- As part of the preparation work, the film director will need to meet the selected profiles of individuals to prepare for the shooting day, and scout the different spots (field trips to be expected).- The process of recruitment of the interviewees will be made in coordination with the ABAAD team based on specific criteria to be discussed ahead of time with the production company.- Film and edit the interviews with 5 individuals: The interviews will take place at the locations of each of the 5 interviewees (to be identified) across 5 rural areas of Lebanon. Based on the script to be developed, filming will include several spots and beauty shots during each shooting day. Length recommended for each of the 5 short/ impactful stories: max 3-5 minutes.- Develop a trailer of 1-2 minutes introducing the 5 episodes.- Post-production: Voice Over upon need, music, subtitling, branding (logos and titles introduction).- Adapt formats for social media dissemination and for public screening.- Videos are to be completed by November 2022.Skills requiredAbility to develop inspiring scripts for 5 videos focusing on the human aspect of 5 intervieweesFilming and editing the 5 videosPost production and technical knowledge of video productionHow to applyProposals should be sent to the email: careers@abaadmena.org by August 31, 2022with the email subject line Vido Producer .Documents requested to applyCompany or Personal portfolioApproach proposedFinancial offerApplications received after closing date will not be considered.Only shortlisted candidate will be contacted
