ARK is currently implementing a project in Lebanon for the purpose of enhancing Public Accountability and Trust in Lebanon.PURPOSE OF POSITION:ARK aims to host a one-day advocacy training workshop to a number of partners in Beirut-Lebanon, on 27 April 2022. The purpose of this workshop is to train ARK partners on Public Policy and Advocacy strategies.DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES REQUIRED:ARK seeks a trainer to conduct a one-day training session for a maximum of 20 participants, the following topics are required to be covered in the training session: 1. Public policy overview 2. Policymaking for advocacy organizations 3. Advocacy strategiesDELIVERABLES:The consultant is required to complete the following deliverables: 1. Training session for one-day on 27 April 2022, for a maximum of 20 participants. 2. Completion report to summarize workshop deliverables and covered topics, to be submitted by a maximum of 5 days following the completion of the workshop.MILESTONES AND PAYMENT SCHEDULE1. The interested consultants are invited to submit the following to Hr@arkgroupdmcc.com. Their CV b. Daily rate in USD (equal to 8 working hours). c. Estimated level of effort (in hours) required to complete the deliverables outlined in deliverables section. To be negotiated between the successful candidate and ARK by 21 April 2022. 2. Submission deadline is Thursday, 21 April 2022 noon Beirut time. 3. Subject to ARK?s approval, payment to the consultant will be made in full upon the successful completion of the agreed service and training activity in USD.REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:1. Experience in conducting public sector accountability advocacy trainings with civil society organizations. 2. Proven knowledge and experience in communications campaigns. 3. Experience in public policy and policy writing. 4. Experience working with or for CSOs and/or NGOs is a plus. 5. Proficiency in Arabic language. Education Degree: Bachelor Degree Education Degree Details: Experience Requirements: 5 to 10 years** Job Directly reporting to the Executive Director, the Deputy Director provides leadership on Grants Management, M&E and Fundraising / Project Development and overall organizational development. In addition, the job incumbent is responsible to assume the role of the Executive Director in their absence.
