• Strategy/ EY Parthenon - Helps our clients to unlock their full potential with a variety of strategy, transaction execution, and restructuring work.
• Lead Advisory- Supports our clients to assess and optimize their capital structure and funding sources. whether it is Mergers & Acquisitions, Capital & Debt advisory or Infrastructure advisory.
• Transaction Diligence - Supports our clients to evaluate their finances and business projections, identify opportunities, risks, sensitivities & potential mitigations, and report it to our clients, their banks, investors and other parties involved.
• Valuation, Modelling & Economics - Delivers Integrated solutions to clients, including Business Valuation, Capital Equipment, Complex Securities, Corporate Finance, Corporate Real Estate and Real Estate Valuation services.

The opportunityWe are strengthening our team in the MENA region and are looking for experienced professionals at various levels, from Seniors to Senior Managers, to join our team. You will be an important part of our diversely talented, highly experienced team and work at the forefront of high-profile Strategy & transactions. You will leverage off an extensive global network, empowering you to provide sector focused advisory services. Your key responsibilitiesYou will participate in engagements to help our clients plan for growth and analyse all aspects of their financial and operational results and overall strategy, which can include inorganic growth. You will work effectively as a team member by demonstrating your commitment to quality, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress. You will also help to create a positive learning culture for other team members and support their development. And as part of your role in the wider team, you will have a role to play in other team initiatives - for example, account management and recruitment. Skills and attributes for successExperience working in a client-facing role within Corporate Strategy or Corporate Finance or Transaction Support and services from a professional services firm or boutique with a good track record. You are required to have strong numerical, financial analysis and modelling skills based on a well-developed understanding of financial statements, commercial judgment and an ability to generate creative solutions to problems. To qualify for this role, you must have

• Degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Banking, Strategy or any other related fields
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar function(s) ideally
• Strong Communications and Presentation skills in English
• Proven ability to produce high quality and impactful professional documents for clients and internal use
• Flexibility to travel (approx. 25 to 75%)
• Compliance with and understanding of regulatory requirements

Ideally, youll also have

• Proficiency in Arabic language
• CA, ACCA, CPA or any other equivalent certification will be an asset
