Job Description

Whats the roleAs Copywriter, you will write copy that educates and inspires our customers while demonstrating the right tone of voice, nuance and style to meet various business needs across all media. In addition to producing clean, compelling and consistent copy, youll be able to think strategically in the context of the customer journey.What does the role involve

  • Write engaging communication that supports our business goals and meets our tonality and legal guidelines.
  • Create headlines and copy for the most visible digital touchpoints (including emails, landing pages, web banners, e-books, social media ads and videos) with minimal direction.
  • Synthe complex topics or product information and transform in into clear, customer-centric messaging.
  • Be up to date with the latest trends in the industry and find opportunities to apply them to the construction industry.
  • Plan and direct copywriting projects end to end, and serve as an integral member of the scrum development team.
  • Effectively revise copy based on performance data.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with other staff members, agencies and producers.
  • Work quickly and efficiently within short time frames.
  • Demonstrate good presentation skills, high attention to detail and the ability to gather and prioritize feedback.
  • Ensure copy and visual messaging present a user-centric storyline.
  • Work comfortably within the challenges of a cross-functional environment (multiple stakeholders and feedback loops).

Who should apply
  • Degree/education: Journalism, Advertising, English, Communications or related discipline preferred.
  • 3-5 years professional copywriting experience.
  • Exceptional English writing skills including topic research and SEO knowledge preferred.
  • Understanding of UX and UI copywriting preferred.
  • Copywriting portfolio must be submitted with application.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Adobe Experience Manager, E-mail building software, content management systems, agile methodology and JIRA is a plus.
  • Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides a plus.
  • Open-minded, proactive personality with strong interpersonal skills.
