Mechanical Procurement EngineerNote : Its Freelance jobJob Location : KhobarFreelance jobRequirements:?Need experience?Ready to Join immediatelyResponsibilities & duties :?Liaise with all relevant sections (O&M, C&R) of the organization and vendors concerning purchasing and logistics operations, making sure that ROS dates are controlled and met.?Prepare vendor packages, and establish procurement schedules for material planning in all ongoing projects.?Prepare bidder lists and tender packages out to obtain Quotations.?Evaluate bids technically & commercially and prepare CBE?s to obtain management approval.?Check and ensure that all items in the Requisitions of Purchase are procured according to specifications.?Liaise with Engineering department in relation to technical specifications, vendors TQ?s and technical approvals.?Negotiate commercial TC?s with vendors and preserve best procurement performs.?Chase up VAT invoices and issue SPR?s.?Issue material reports and highlight delivery risks.?Ensure that Procedures and Work Instructions are followed and that quality standards are met.?Coordinate correspondences between vendors and procurement coordinators, expeditors, warehousing and Logistic teams to ensure material are supplied on time.?Supervise the process of requisitions and purchase orders within the discipline for the supply of goods and other services as required.?Communicate with field engineers to confirm material specifications, BOQ?s etc...?Manage current vendor database and find additional potential suppliers locally and globally.?Maintain adherence to all company policies, QMS and manuals including safety standards.?Monitor and respond in a timely and appropriate manner to meet product quality and quantity requirements.?Evaluate vendor performance and defining potential risks in material delivery.
