Estimation Engineer ( Steel Structure ))

Job Description

the primary role is to support and enhance the Companys cost estimation and quotation processes. This pivotal position involves preparing accurate and competitive project quotations, aligning with customer requirements, and industry standards while optimizing costs. The person shall be able to collaborate with various internal departments, leverage technical expertise, and ensure data security and confidentiality to contribute to the Companys customer-centric approach and financial success. The role also entails continuous improvement efforts in cost optimization, value engineering, and maintaining high-quality standards to meet customer expectations and achieve organizational excellence.

• Analyse technical specifications, deconstructing project requirements into quantifiable metrics. This comprehensive examination encompasses a detailed assessment of customer requirements providing a foundation for precise cost estimation,
• Collaborate closely with Sales department to understand customer requirements and seamlessly integrate inputs from various departments into the cost estimation process,
• Support the use of predictive analytics to forecast the impact of potential changes in technical specifications, enabling data-driven insights and providing informed recommendations for proactive cost management,
• Prepare accurate and comprehensive quotations for potential customers, aligning with project requirements and specifications, while continuously seeking opportunities for cost optimization and value engineering in the quotation process,
• Maintain detailed records of all cost estimation and quotation processes, encompassing communication records, to ensure transparency, accountability, and organized documentation,
• Employ and optimize various estimation techniques, to deliver precise and well-informed cost estimates. Continuously assess and refine estimation methods, based on project complexity, historical data, and industry trends to ensure the highest level of accuracy in cost estimation,

• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality when handling customer information to ensure the protection of all proprietary data, sensitive project details, and prevent data leakage, unauthorized copying, or transmission of customer-related information.
