Job Description

Job Title :Safety Officer Location : Khamis, Saudi ArabiaWe are looking for candidate who can join immediately.Contract Duration : 4 Month contract 1. Implementation and maintenance of Safety and Loss Prevention including Safe Work Practices/Safe Job Procedures and the Site Emergency Response Plan2. Develop site /project specific safety plan and endure proper implementation at site by all employees and subcontractors3. Develop Activity Hazard Analysis for each major activity at site and ensure implementation controls at site4. Monitor the safety performance of all on-site workers to ensure that all workers are on the site work safely5. Encourage and educate employees to take precautions and adhere to safety rules to protect themselves and the equipment they use from damage6. Identify and review various health and safety concerns specific to work site and ensure construction site activities do not put non-construction site people outside of the site at risk7. Investigate all injuries, accidents and near misses. Identify the causes and advise on any improvement in safety standards that need to be made.8. Review accident summary reports and take appropriate action when accident trends are unfavourable9. Acts as a liaison with the ambulance services and hospitals, management, subcontractors and workers regarding aspects of health and safety on and off the job10. Ensure daily risk assessments are being conducted as per safety policy11. Re-certify in any courses pertaining to OSHA and First Responsive Course12. Update and display safety policies and pertinent information on the company bulletin board13. Conduct and record Safety Site orientations Weekly Toolbox Safety Meetings Safety Inspections Audits Joint Work14. Conduct and minute Site Health and Safety Meetings15. Maintain an inventory list of safety equipment purchased16. Establishing inspection schedules for all tools, major equipment, lifting devices and mobile equipment to ensure safe operating conditions and compliance with current regulations17. Assist injured workers in obtaining Modified Duties and administer the return-to-work policy
