Position: Nurse Instructor, (Surgical Day care OR/Suit )AnesthesiaEntity: Aga Khan University HospitalLocation: Karachi, PakistanIntroduction:Aga Khan University Hospital invites applications for the position of Nurse Instructor for the department of Anesthesia.Job Role / Responsibilities:

  • úDesign and deliver courses related to orientation, fundamental skills training, in-service, ongoing education, and developmental sessions for nursing services and support services personnel.Strategize, develop, and coordinate programs, courses, and workshops to address the diverse nursing requirements and institutional patient care goals.úAssess the effectiveness of individual and group learning experiences.Keep comprehensive records of staff learning activities to support their professional development.úEnsure alignment of educational programs with organizational objectives.úCoordinate and lead various American Heart Association courses, compiling reports in the specified format.
Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:You must have;
  • Aÿbaccalaureate degree in nursing (bscn) from an accredited school.
  • valid license from pakistan nursing council.
  • Certification in:
    • BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP (Provider/Instructor)
    • Safe Medication Administration
    • Intravenous Cannulation
    • Procedural Sedation
  • minimumÿ3ÿyears of experienceÿas registered nurse.
  • in-depth knowledge of nursing policies and processes.
  • excellent decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • readiness to work in flexible hours.
