About the job Manager - LegalWe are looking for a Manager - Legal role in the banking industry for our client, based in Karachi.Education:

Experience Requirement:

5+ years of related banking experience
Knowledge and understanding of prevailing laws relating recoveries, banking laws, criminal laws

Key Responsibilities:

To assist and monitor in-house litigation issues, vetting and examine the documents for legal opinion
Maintain litigation record, preparation of reports and cases follow-ups
Keeping safe custody all original POA, legal files, courts cases record, list of recovery suits and strong follow-ups with panel/dealing lawyers
Vetting of all kinds of property documents related to Corporate, SME, Consumer and staff loans, takeover loans/mortgage
Provide legal support, rapid response and coordination for resolving queries received from different branches and departments of the bank
To attend High Court, District Courts, Banking Courts, NAB, FIA, LEA and SBP for compliance in connection with legal and other related issues
Maintaining list of panel law firms/Lawyers/ Councils profiles, processing of external counsels professional fees and other legal expenses records
Assist recovery department regarding recovery cases, executions and follow ups with dealing councils
