This individual will manage and coordinate all truckload dispatch operations within the U.S., build strong relationships with carriers, and maintain our reputation for exceptional service in the freight industry.Key Responsibilities:1. Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, expanding our network, and ensuring reliable, efficient truckload services across the United States.2. Collaborate with the sales team to arrange the best truckload configurations, taking into account shipment pick-up and drop-off points, weight, commodity, estimated time of arrival, and last free day.3. Deliver excellent customer service, responding promptly to inquiries, and resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction.4. Identify and negotiate with the best carriers for truckload shipments to ensure cost-effective transportation solutions.5. Follow up with compliance to verify carrier credentials and qualifications according to federal and state transportation regulations.6. Draft and maintain relevant documents, such as invoices and delivery receipts.7. Actively expand our carrier network through cold calling and other recruitment strategies.8. Strive to maintain a win-loss momentum at 50-50 percent, indicating successful carrier negotiations and recruitment.9. Identify and present innovative ideas to Operation Leads and Sales Heads to maximize productivity in the truckload department.10. Maintain daily records and data sheets for organizational and tracking purposes.11. Meet and exceed individual and team KPIs by recruiting new truckload carriers every month (minimum of 3 carriers).12. Optimize truckload transportation costs while ensuring on-time delivery.13. Conduct bi-weekly/monthly meetings with management and team members to review performance, strategize, and improve processes.Skills and Qualifications:ÿ1. Diploma or equivalent required; a degree in logistics, business, or a related field is preferred.2. Proven experience as a dispatcher or similar role, specifically in the truckload department within the freight brokerage or transportation industry.3. Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.4. Proficiency in relevant software, like transport management systems and database systems.5. Familiarity with federal and state transportation regulations specific to the U.S. truckload freight market.6. Ability to work under pressure, solve problems, and make decisions independently.7.
