Careem operates in over 70 cities across 10 countries, from Morocco to Pakistan.About the role:We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support the growth of our non-tech teams across the MENA region. You will meet the evolving hiring needs of Careem through sourcing and hiring exceptional talent. As a member of our global talent acquisition team, you will partner closely with key stakeholders and drive the recruitment process to identify the right fit for our teams.What youll do:

  • Recruit across a wide range of functions including Marketing, Operations, Sales, HR, Compliance, Finance etc
  • Proactively source, screen and shortlist top talent
  • Work with the business throughout the hiring process, from creating job descriptions, to ensuring established processes are followed to ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Candidate Experience - manage effective communication with candidates and set expectations throughout the process to provide for seamless experience
  • Stakeholder management - partner with hiring managers to provide expertise on sourcing top talent, alongside regular updates and summaries of recruiting progress and activity
  • Work with hiring managers to determine best fit candidates, co-ordinate interviews, obtain qualitative feedback and manage candidates through to offer stage
  • Conduct role brief meetings to understand hiring needs, position specifications, and search requirements
  • Develop and manage internal and external talent communities
  • Develop relationships with candidates, understand their needs, and connect them to opportunities at Careem
  • Solve problems and produce solutions by identifying alternatives when circumstances change
  • Collaboration - Work closely with other departments of the People team including People Engagement, Rewards and People Operations
What youll need:
  • 2 years+ recruitment experience
  • In-house or agency experience
  • Experience with an ATS (we use Greenhouse)
  • Experience using Recruiter
  • Excellent work ethic and a strong sense of ownership
