Site Name: Pakistan - Sindh - Karachi Posted Date: Nov 30 2022 Job Purpose To supervise the electrical / electronic maintenance activities in Production area & has responsibility for all day to day operational matters of site. This includes smooth operations effective of Site Electrical system, employee relations, training and development. This requires close working and alignment of the role with the other engineering department of other sites. Education & Experience B.E Electrical/Electronics 8 ? 10 years minimum experience as a technical, with a minimum 3 years managerial experience preferably in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning 1. To ensure all machines are working smoothly with proper Electronic/Electrical maintenance. 2. To ensure that Electronic/Electrical System of machine is working properly. 3. Prepare the Calibration Schedule for Weighing Balances and Instruments of all departments and ensure its effective implementation. 4. Ensure that Adherence of PM checklist as per plan 5. Ensure that all instruments and balances are calibrated on or before due date. 6. Communicate every complaint from user to respective person. 7. Co-ordinate with other units to ensure build-up of team work. 8. Carry out special projects as and when assigned to. 9. To Identify & contribute in cost saving Projects for Operational Excellence Projects. 10. Ensure that all electronic & electrical inventory in stores must be updated 11. Coordinate in executing computerized system validation process. 12. Ensure that requirements of TP-13 are fulfilled in the concerned area Operational Business 1. Ensure that all engineering activities ? planned preventive maintenance, quality of work and staff safety ? are undertaken in a manner consistent with GSK customer Service and cost targets. 2. Ensure continuous improvement and efficiency in all work processes 3. Optimize the utilization of available Engineering resources to maximize outputs. 4. Planning the activities related to the maintaining and repairing of Physical systems of utilities equipment. 5. Participate in cross-functional teams and provide engineering inputs Support services 6. Ensure continuous improvement, economical and efficient Engineering process 7. Monitor Engineering related Risks Assessment procedures as well as Self Inspections. Compliance and Procedural Implementations 1. Develop and implement systems, policies, and procedure so that engineering activities are operated safely, support production, and comply with Group and Local regulatory requirements 2. Liaise with Government authorities and Utility Companies to fulfil Regulatory requirement and smooth operation of site. 3. Responsible for performing all duties in accordance with all environmental, health and Safety regulations and practices applicable to this position. 4. Providing Engineering support for preparation of Site Quality plans periodically and ensure compliance and continuous Quality improvement. 5. Identify engineering related EHS performance measures, set targets and routinely Review performance and progress. 6. Ensure compliance with Global GSK policies and procedures comprising of GMP, ETCM, TPs, BCP, EHS, GQP and QMS policies. People Management & Development 1.
