The OpportunityRapid Innovation is recruiting for a UX/UI Designer (Senior Consultant/Assistant Manager level) to join our rapidly expanding Consulting team in Pakistan. A senior user-experience (UX) designer should be able to understand the business requirements and any technical limitations, as well as be responsible for conceiving and conducting secondary research, interviews, and surveys, and translating them into sitemaps, journey maps, wireframes, design mock-ups and prototypes. The UX designer will also be expected to design the overall functionality of the product (both mobile and desktop), and to ensure a great user experience, iterate upon it in accordance with user-testing.EY Rapid InnovationAs a Multinational Member Firm in the EY network, Rapid Innovation, based in Pakistan, exclusively provides its services to MENA based EY Member Firms across the MENA region, excluding Pakistan.ÿ The work is executed remotely by working virtually with our MENA onshore teams and sometime may require travel to MENA EY offices.Your Key Responsibilities* Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.* Facilitate the client?s product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping experiences for digital products.* Design and deliver wireframes, user journeys, and mock-ups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.* Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions.* Make design and user-experience suggestions related to core, and new functions.* Take a user-cantered design approach to rapidly test and iterate designs.* Collaborate with other department team members and stakeholders.* Work independently or in a team of multi-disciplinary design members* Ask smart questions, take risks, and champion new ideas.To qualify for the role, you must have* Four or more years of UX/UI design experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments and multinational brands* Expertise in Figma is a must plus other standard UX and design software such as Sketch, InVision, Balsamiq, XD and Photoshop. Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, skills are a plus.* Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client requirements.* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment* Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.* A solid grasp of user-cantered design (UCD), planning and conducting usability testing, rapid prototyping, UX analysis, and accessibility implementation in design.* Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently.* Ability to effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to project stakeholders.* Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.* Should be able to decipher the client?s brief.* Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.* Remain updated with the latest design trends and UX methodologies.* Should be able to work on and create user interface design systemsWhat we look forWe are interested in entrepreneurs who have the confidence to develop and promote a brand-new strategic vision both internally and externally.
