Senior Research Assistant, Department of MedicineEntity: Aga Khan UniversityLocation: KarachiIntroduction to the Aga Khan University: The Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Senior Research Assistant, Department of Medicine.This is a closed ended position for a period of six months.Job Role / Responsibilities:You are required to:

  • day to day operation of research and data collection activities
  • real-time data entry into Redcap
  • data Management/ Publications
  • inform the clinical team and approaching the patient to obtain informed consent.
  • assist in preparing manuscript & abstracts for publication/presentations required by investigators, administrators, funding agencies, etc.
  • better implementation of project objectives
  • data quality assurance/data analysis/interpretation.
Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:You should have:
  • Bachelor?s in medicine, Bachelors in Surgery (MBBS).
  • Previous research experience including literature search, data collection and manuscript writing is preferred.
  • Good research skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good English language competency (written and oral)
  • Ability to work independently.
