Job Description

Position Title: Senior - Key Account ManagerDepartment: Key Account ManagerLocation: KarachiReporting Line: Lead - Key Account Managerfoodpanda is an online food and grocery delivery platform owned by Delivery Hero. From our restaurants-partners, cloud kitchens and cloud grocery stores ? foodpanda is just one tap away, getting everything you need into your hands quickly and conveniently!Role Summary:As an Account Manager for our restaurant in the Food Vertical (NFV), you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining long-term relationships with our partners. Your primary focus will be on driving partner Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV) and order growth on the foodpanda platform. Additionally, you will handle operational issues and oversee special account management projects in accordance with established standards.Responsibilities:

  • Growth in business (GMV and orders) on tagged portfolio and zones.
  • Conduct comprehensive business reviews with accounts to identify opportunities that contribute to increased revenue, profitability, and market share.
  • Maintain continuous and robust business relationships with vendors within the Food Vertical.
  • Provide exemplary service and support to build strong relationships and promptly resolve operational issues between vendors and foodpanda.
  • Ensure that client menus are consistently up-to-date, and integrations are seamlessly executed.
  • Manage and optimize the Vendor content on the foodpanda platform.
  • Facilitate commission rate renegotiations, fostering new commercial relationships while renewing existing contacts.
  • Drive Non-Commission Revenue (NCR) sales by consistently achieving premiumlisting targets on a monthly basis.
  • Advocate for digitization initiatives and persuade vendors to embrace the digital transformation.
  • Coordinate with vendors to address live or active status on the foodpanda website, resolving issues such as shutdowns or discontinued deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities, including closed sales, follow-up actions, sales expense reports, increased sales reports post-
  • promotions, and vendor analysis sheets.
  • Provide detailed account management reports to track performance and identifyareas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1+ year of proven experience in account management or a similar role, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and negotiation skills
  • Customer-oriented with a strong focus on building and maintaining relationships.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales statistics to formulate effective solutionsand provide actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with online delivery platforms and e-commerce.
  • Results-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel to meet with restaurant partners as needed.
