We have rethought the brokerage paradigm and are innovation leaders in our space, looking for the right people to join us as we scale.The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for successfully managing multiple, complex, cross-departmental projects involving changes to business processes, software solutions, and IT system implementations. This role requires collaboration with academic and administrative departments, technical staff, and user communities to ensure seamless execution of campus-wide IT projects. The Senior IT Project Manager must be adept at managing projects using both traditional project management approaches and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Occasional work outside of normal business hours may be required based on project needs. This position reports to the Director of IT Strategy, Project, and Portfolio Management in the Office of Information Technology.Work Days:Mon-FriJob Type:ÿOn-Site (Office based)Shift Timings:ÿ06:30 PM till 03:30 AM (IST)Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple, complex IT projects, ensuring timely and efficient execution in line with project goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including academic and administrative departments, technical staff, and user communities, to facilitate communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, regularly monitoring progress and adjusting as necessary to ensure project success.
• Implement both traditional project management approaches and Agile/Scrum methodologies based on project requirements.
• Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks and issues, taking appropriate action to mitigate potential negative impacts on project outcomes.
• Prepare and present project status reports, updates, and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by conducting project retrospectives and implementing lessons learned to enhance future project performance.
• Mentor and support junior project managers and team members, providing guidance and expertise as needed.
• Stay informed of industry best practices and emerging trends in IT project management to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of innovation.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects.
• Strong knowledge of traditional project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2) and Agile/Scrum practices.
• PMP, PgMP, or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar applications.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
• A commitment to professional development and staying current with industry trends and best practices.
