About the job Security InchargeJob purposeSecurity Incharge is responsible for safeguarding companys assets, employees and customers. He/she will oversee the security operations, manage security personnel and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, playing a pivotal role in minimizing risks, protecting assets and ensuring the companys well-being.Main responsibilities and key tasks

  • Develop and implement robust security strategies and policies to protect the companys assets, employees and facilities.
  • Assess potential risks and vulnerabilities, investigating security breaches and reinforcing appropriate measures to mitigate them.
  • Lead and manage a team of security personnel, including hiring, training and performance management.
  • Conducting regular security assessments, audits and inspections to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as law enforcement agencies and security vendors, to enhance security measures and respond to incidents.
  • Fostering a culture of security awareness and training employees on security protocols and procedures.
Key tasks
  • Supervise and manage security staff , assigning duties, and overseeing their performance.
  • Oversee the day-to-day security operations of plant.
  • Monitor all visitors/workers/drivers/contractor staff and their movements
  • Ensure all workers physical searching when they time-in and time-out. Keep custody all those items which are not allowed at plant premises and inform management.
  • Monitor security systems, including surveillance cameras, alarms and access control systems.
  • In case any CCVT is not working properly / malfunctioning, promptly notify to the concerned employees of the I.T Department, and ensure CCTV issue is resolved.
  • Coordinate and direct security patrols, inspections, and response procedures.
  • Monitor and check all incoming and outgoing items and gate passes as per defined SOP.
  • Ensure availability of gate passes for all movements of goods (for outward movements).
  • Monitor, storing, loading and dispatching of 2nd choice & Scrap Diapers Sale and keeping the copies of the required documentation for their own records.
  • Check proper seal application after closer of any department like FGW, RMW & 2nd choice area.
  • Provide training and orientation to security staff on security protocols, emergency response and customer service.
  • Identify potential security vulnerabilities and conduct risk assessments to address weaknesses.
  • Monitor 3P contractors / labor while they are working in Ontex controlled area (both in and outside plant) and to ensure they dont access the unauthorized areas to cater the risk of theft, damage etc.
  • Identify suspicious activities and guard against illegal actions such as violence, threats, thefts, criminal behavior, and regulation breaches.
  • Conduct internal investigations into security breaches, misconduct, and other incidents requiring examination.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency services and internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Review incident reports, security logs, and documentation to identify trends and areas, as improvement.
  • Ensure security practices and procedures comply with industry standards and relevant regulations.
  • Keep focus on Plant assets outside the Plant area as well e.g. docking area, boundary wall etc.
  • Conduct drills and simulations to ensure staff is well-prepared for crisis situations, if any.
  • Stay informed about advancements in security technology and recommend upgrades, as necessary.
Administrative Tasks
  • Monitor waste of energy (lights, CA, fans, AC etc.) and turn those off when required.
  • Monitor & keep maintain UGWT water level & drinking water in side &outside.
  • Monitor & Support QA & Production for Hygiene & Pest Management (IPM)
  • Monitor & maintain a record of outgoing & Incoming Postal Documents daily basis.
  • Keeping record of the parcels received and getting receiving signature from the concerned office employee.
Job requirements
  • Bachelors degree from recognized institute.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in security management, preferably in manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of security principles and practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of security technologies and other security-related equipment such as CCTV surveillance.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations and industry standards pertaining to security and safety.
  • Proficiency in security assessments, audits and investigations.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse security team.
  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying and mitigating security risks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergencies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and email writing.
