Site Name: Pakistan - Sindh - Karachi Posted Date: Jul 26 2022 Job Purpose: The role helps ensure ICSS risks are appropriately mitigated with a sound control framework and provides adequate oversight of risks and controls issues across all ICSS locations on a global basis. Accountable for assessing processes and control framework within ICSS organization and provide proactive risk assurance by performing risk assessment and driving risk mitigation initiatives over different business processes to ensure control soundness. The Risk Manager is also responsible for partnering with the Global Process Tower organization and ICSS Leads to ensure identified solutions mitigate the risk, and to implement key control initiatives associated with corporate policies. The focus in the role is to build a culture of proactive risk assessment and business partnering to strengthen the control framework to effectively and efficiently mitigate risks. Education, Experience & Skills: CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIA Minimum of 5 years Post qualification experience in internal or external audit, or SOX compliance programmes. Problem Solving & Innovation Stakeholder Management Key Responsibilities: Lead risk management and controls assessment and provide oversight of risk management and control activities at ICSS globally: Reviewing outcome of Controls Testing activities and reporting on controls effectiveness Reviewing outcome of process risk assessments and reporting on major exposures and mitigations Reporting on risk assessments (include root cause analyses) and mitigations related to operational issues and support operations teams on remediation activities Advising senior finance leadership on operational risks across all processes and ICSS locations; ensuring adequate risk management and root cause analyses performed for incidents. Manage ICSS/global process continuous improvement programs and optimization initiatives to reduce risk and/or improve team efficiency, levering technology such as robotics, AI and other tools Ensure adequate oversight of third party services supporting ICSS, as part of monitoring and controls testing plans Drive risk mitigation initiatives at the hub and/or global ICSS level to address any major exposures Keep Global Finance Services ICSS Global Lead appraised of risk and control issues and ensure stakeholders understand and commit to resolution of risk and control deficiency issues across relevant processes Support and engage with external auditors and other parties to reduce impact to business, increase controls reliance, and align on auditor?s assessment of the finance control environment Support GSK Enterprise Risk Management at the HUB/ICSS global operations level.
