CRISPR/Cas9 for treating ?-thalassemia and sickle cell anemia?).This project aims to develop druggable cell-based gene editing therapies that would be applicable to both ?-thalassemia and sickle cell anemia. It will develop an efficient system to directly inject a biologically active gene editing CRISPR/Cas9 complex to repair the mutated gene within the body.
