Careem operates in over 70 cities across 10 countries, from Morocco to Pakistan.About the teamThe role holder will play a pivotal role in the global procurement teams efforts to establish a procurement center of excellence at Careem. This involves a comprehensive overhaul of legacy strategies, with a focus on automation and process improvements. The goal is to enhance agility in tandem with the companys rapid scaling initiatives.The global Procurement team is looking for a Procurement Analyst with a strong focus on data and analytics to optimize our procurement strategies, enhance efficiency, and provide strategic insights. The ideal candidate will have a keen analytical mind, advanced proficiency in data analysis tools, and a good understanding of procurement processes.What youll doData Analysis and Reporting:

  • Utilize data analysis tools to extract insights from procurement data.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to track procurement performance.
  • Analyze historical procurement data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Supplier Performance Evaluation:
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for supplier performance.
  • Analyze supplier performance data to assess reliability, quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve supplier issues.
Process Optimization:
  • Identify inefficiencies in the procurement process and recommend improvements, working closely with the team lead.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement process enhancements that streamline operations.
What youll need:
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Analyst with a focus on data and analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and best practices.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
