Note: This is a one year contractual role Job Purpose This Planning & Forecast Trainee role is to provide planning & forecasting support to the Planning & Forecasting team, including the analysts and the team leads. This includes assisting the P&F team on monthly CCCs, month-end reviews, Bison submissions of Plan / UP2, and other such activities. The trainee will support the Hub leadership in the testing, deployment & rollout of P&F tools and other process improvement initiatives. Education & Experience: ACCA Affiliate Relevant experience (0-2 years) preferably within a similar operating model and similar sector Experience in Financial Planning/Budgeting, preferably in a multinational company. Expertise in creating or extracting information from /to excel and use of advanced formulas. Proficient financial knowledge of analysis, evaluation, modelling and forecasting with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: Provide support to the P&F Lead /Analyst with the preparation of the 3+1 plan to the Leadership Team. Support Hub P&F team for creating, updating, and maintaining financial models to provide detailed monthly and quarterly forecasts for the market (CCC process) Compare forecasts against budgets and prior month forecasts. Performs variance analysis to explain differences in performance and make improvements going forward Prepare internal management reports (e.g., DRM, MPR, month-end) for the team being supported Support PIL team in design, testing and rollout of process improvement initiatives Skills: Strong MS Excels and Power BI skills with hands-on experience of developing financial modelling Ability to handle and summarise large volumes of data for meaningful insights Strong business acumen with ability to connect dots to identify commercial business performance patterns Strong English speaking & writing skills Questions for understanding and continuously improving processes and reports Desire to get things done and contribute Optimistic and positive attitude, energises team and can influence it to tackle problems Highly objective, open and honest about issues Actively seek assistance to deal with situations beyond their ability to manage Contact information: You may apply for this position online by selecting the Apply now button.
