Ensure compliance of all internal procedures and operational controls for risk management. Responsible for the timely delivery and response of customer requests.Strategy

• Keep yourself updated with the Regulatory and Group policies
• Set internal standards and procedures for the bank in line with development of International Trade

BusinessResponsible to keep close and cordial relationship with customer / RM / Internal Units in order to facilitate solutions to customer?s inquiries / problems and / or tailoring required for any specific customer request.ProcessesManage the daily operations of the team with the aim to maximize the productivity of the team and ensure that efficient and high-quality services are provided to our valued customers using a range of products and services and in further enhance to achieve maximum profitability for the bank.

• Efficient and error free processing of Bank Guarantees / IATA/ Advising in compliance with laid down procedures in departmental Operating Instruction (DOIs), agreed SLA, Group sanctions policies, vessel check policy and local and international regulations UCP 600, URDG-758,URR-725 and ISBP PUB 745.
• Ensure all daily Open message tag and respond without any delay.
• EOD daily recon of Transaction Dashboard.
• Bank Guarantee Printing after transactions got released in TP system.
• Security Stationary Balancing.
• Ensure proper comments are updated in TD for pending transactions.
• All task and assignments assigned by TL?s to be performed.
• Ensure that the set productivity targets (efficiency, accuracy, etc.) and processing turnaround standards are achieved (within own area of responsibility).
• Ensure awareness and full compliance of all laid down rules, regulations, policies, guidelines, procedures, practices and code of conduct imposed by the Company/ Group.

Reporting all suspicious transactions including transactions having Red-Flag alerts to AML approvers.As Key Custodian, Ownership and proper management with respect to fire resistant cabinet / vault (if any) must be handled in line with policy and procedure and ensure proper handing over / taking over of Keys must be registered throughout the yearUpgrading of process / regulation / Group circulars and guidelines in country DOIs

1. Interface with subordinates.

• Monitor morale and constantly motivate subordinate staff to ensure that the team achieves optimum level of productivity and service standards.
• Train team members to maximize the productivity within the resource available and ensure that they have the required level of knowledge and expertise to respond to and handle customer queries.
• Review of team members? performance as per agreed performance standards and other objectives while identifying weakness and strengths.

1. Change Management

• Ensure that Import products DOI?s are updated on yearly basis (country level).
• Responsible for making addendum in the Import DOI for any changes that occurred in respect of process/ systems/ policies etc during the year.

1. Control & Work Management.

• Maintain control over day to day operations to ensure that the banks policies operational guidelines are duly adhered to by the team members.
• To be able to handle the complex transaction for risk control escalated from team members or directed by the unit of Trade Services.
• Work with the Unit Head, Pakistan for delivering / modifying internal operating procedures and control standards in line with the changes in the internal / external regulations in market place.
• Ensure that all team members are well versed with Group policies & procedures and especially the procedure for handling of trade transactions related to sanctions countries.
• Addressed all items identified in any audit report & ensure timely closure of all audit open items. Further ensure non repetition of items highlighted in the previous audits.
