Responsible to ensure daily transactions are processed in a timely manner and all relevant approvals are in place for the transaction. Ensure compliance of all internal procedures and operational controls for risk management. Responsible for timely delivery and response for customer?s transactions/queries.Strategy

• Create awareness and understanding of the Group?s business strategy and model to the relevant teams in Trade
• Keep yourself updated with the Regulatory and Group policies
• Set internal standards and procedures for the bank in line with development of International Trade

Business

• Overall governance of the Imports team (Spoke) in terms of transactional processing within agreed standard levels
• Effective handling of queries of the assigned customers within the agreeable boundaries of service standard
• Ensure that efficient and quality service is provided to our valued customers using range of Import products that are offered by the bank
• Ensure compliance of all the internal procedures and operational control for risk assessment
• Obtain customer feedback regarding their satisfaction level through emails or customer visits
• To engage with customer and business for resolution of discrepancies raised by HUB
• Monitor the transactional TATs and engage the teams to fix the issues where required

• Responsible to keep abreast with the existing and potential customers and their businesses
• Responsible to keep close and cordial relationship with customers/RMs in order to facilitate clients with regard to their problems
• Ensure SLAs & DOIs are updated and signed with relevant stakeholders
• To work on projects and assignments as and when given by Head of Trade ? Spoke

• Act as a key custodian for the record room and fulfil all responsibilities as listed in the record room management policy and procedures.

Processes

• Manage and administer the daily operations of the team with the aim to maximize the productivity of the team and ensure that efficient and high quality services are provided to our valued customers using a range of products and services.
• Monitor day to day processing and delivery of trade services relevant to the assigned team with agreed service standard.

• Review existing practices and identify gaps for improvement in terms of accuracy and efficiency
• Ensure departmental DOIs are updated with requisite processes and procedures as per required standards
• Ensure Error Logs for the unit is maintained and socialized with the team and Head of Trade Services
• Ensure related approvals are in place for all trade transactions of the assigned clients.
• Ensure timely reporting to the Group / Regulatory Authorities where applicable.
• as Key Custodian, Ownership and proper management with respect to fire resistant cabinet / vault (if any) must be handled in line with policy and procedure and ensure proper handing over / taking over of Keys must be registered throughout the year

• Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from team members and work in collaboration with risk and control partners.
• Ensure the provision of ongoing training and development of people, and ensure that holders of all critical functions are suitably skilled and qualified for their roles ensuring that they have effective supervision in place to mitigate any risks.
