About the job Head of Compliance- LicensingHead of Compliance - Onsite - KarachiCompany Overview:Hiring one of our multiple Gas Stations, Convenience Stores, Retail Shopping Stripes, ATMs, Food Joints, & Manage construction projects. The companys existence is from 1999 when the founder of the company first bought a convenience store in Houston Tx. The company now operates multiple operational gas stations along with several other businesses. As the Head of Compliance for Licensing, you will ensure that the company complies with all regulatory requirements related to licensing within the fuel industry. You will oversee the licensing process, maintain compliance with regulatory bodies, and ensure that all licenses and permits are up to date.This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the licensing process for the company, including applications, renewals, and amendments.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities to ensure a smooth licensing process.
  • Monitor changes in licensing regulations and ensure that the company remains compliant at all times.
  • Coordinate with legal and regulatory affairs teams to interpret and implement licensing requirements.
  • Conduct internal audits and reviews to assess compliance with licensing regulations.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline the licensing process and enhance compliance.
  • Train and educate employees on licensing requirements and compliance best practices.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on licensing compliance for senior management and regulatory authorities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or a similar role.
  • Must have experience with US permits and licensing
  • Proven experience managing licensing processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of licensing regulations and procedures within the fuel industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to effectively manage a team.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with environmental regulations related to the fuel industry.
