Nazwa biura: Pakistan - Sindh - Karachi Posted Date: May 20 2022 Job Purpose Group Medical Manager is a leadership role in Medical Management to deal with the complexity of multiple therapy areas whilst leading a team of Medical Advisors / Medical Manager(s) supporting the area. Acting as a strategic partner to the Commercial, the Group Medical Manager cultivates a network of collaborative relationships, based on mutual trust, effectively leading Medical Plans / Projects from their inception to the execution on multiple therapy areas of strategic importance to ensure the best outcome for GSK. The Group Medical Manager plays a critical role in developing competency and capability of the assigned team and in implementing effectively employee performance standards, metrics and feedback processes The Group Medical Manager ensures that the related Medical Affairs Group is functioning in most efficient & productive way so as the GSK targets are achieved in line with the ethical standards. Monitoring compliance in all promotional activities with local laws, regulations, GSK standards and Scientific Engagement. The Group Medical Manager acts as a liaison between the Regional / Global Medical Team and the locally assigned team including MSLs, Medical Manager(s), Medical Advisor(s) whilst reporting to the Country Medical Director. The Group Medical Manager also acts as an expert on at least one or more of the assigned therapeutic area. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manage multiple therapy areas ensuring effective coordination with relevant stakeholders, multitasking to reduce the complexity of the business operations by: Ensuring that strategies and objectives are in line with company strategies and objectives. Planning, tracking, controlling and coordinating the activities accomplished / supported / sponsored by his/her group. Establishing effective communication mechanisms with other departments / units. Ensuring that the conduct of the strategies and tactics comply with company policy and procedures and local laws. 2. Guide & oversee development of annual medical plans as part of the Business Plan, aligned with the Global Business Strategy on Multiple therapy areas of strategic importance. Provide medical inputs to marketing activities in compliance with overall strategy and marketing plan by: Working in coordination with the Business Units Head & BUM as a strategic partner in order to determine strengths and weaknesses of the products and relevant opportunities and threats in the market. Assisting in the decision process for product positioning and goal setting among the other products in the relevant therapeutic class. Assisting in formulation of strategies and tactics to achieve the goals. Determining which congresses, symposia, etc. to participate, in coordination with related Business Units personnel. Using Multi Channels including Digital ones for the dissemination of scientific information 3. Demonstrate leadership & provide guidance for multiple therapeutic areas interacting with the Regional / Global teams from a scientific perspective and become the internal content expert speaker 4. Effectively lead projects from its inception to completion, is able to develop / identify best practices and implement them effectively and efficiently, encouraging innovation in relevant multiple therapeutic areas. 5. Coach and Mentor direct reports / Develop team for bigger roles and responsibilities / implement effectively employee performance standards, metrics and feedback processes / Planning and follow up of training programs for the subordinates: Determining the technical knowledge improvement needs of his/her subordinates and developing yearly training plans based on the Medical Division Training Curriculum. Determining the skill improvement needs of his/her subordinates and communicating the training needs to the Human Resources Division. Observing, evaluating and keeping track of the subordinates performance, development and training attendance. Regularly reviewing and updating the Training Curriculum. 6. Oversight of SOP compliance. Oversight of the Company compliance with the document quality standards determined by relevant SOP, Scientific Engagement and GCP guidelines. Assuring that all involved GSK personnel are in compliance with current SOPs and Scientific Engagement. Delivering training on Medical Approval procedures and evaluating the results. Ensuring that adverse event reporting is accomplished in compliance with company procedures and MoH regulations. Providing input to the Budgeting process of the Medical Division on his/her group?s budget items, tracking budget actualization and investigating the reasons for deviations from the budget and initiating the necessary budget adjustments -if any and control medical expenses of the related business are not surpassed. 7. Developing and maintaining relations with External Experts / Customers utilizing various resources, such as congresses, publications, and medical associations: Managing the relations with potential and existing EEs, especially during congresses, visits, etc. Assisting the EE?s during congresses and effectively representing the company. 8. Moderate & coordinate of Advisory Board activities (where applicable) according to Scientific Engagement / Provision of the Medical Information: Responds to an unsolicited MI request for on- or off-label information about a GSK product or their specific therapeutic area. Answer medical scientific inquiries from customers & field force, evaluation of scientific literature, support sales force with scientific argumentation for GSK marketed products. 9. Collecting ISS ideas / Co ordination of ISS and KEG: Acting as a point of contact for investigators, facilitating the interface with investigators and local R & D department responsible for approval, and communication of study progress and completion / Life cycle management of the product 10. Review the commercial / medical material of more than one therapy area of strategic importance through CL / ensure strong compliance with the code Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Bachelor of Medicine 2-4 years? experience of pharmaceutical industry (either marketing or medical) Deep understanding of multiple therapy areas People management experience Internal and external relevant Therapy Area training Completion of core curriculum for medical roles within GSK Understanding of GCP (Good Clinical Practices) to conduct clinical trials is an additional plus Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: MBA Excellent understanding of medical functions and medical affairs activities Strong interpersonal, organizational, written and oral communications skills Ability to develop relationships based upon trust and mutual respect Dane kontaktowe: Mo?esz zaaplikowa? online na to stanowisko, naciskaj?c przycisk Aplikuj.
