Site Name: Pakistan - Sindh - Karachi Posted Date: Jun 23 2022 Job Purpose: The Demand Forecasting Manager is responsible for the development of a robust, un-biased and comprehensive sales forecast for approximately 600+ SKUs, split across an assigned Therapy/SKU portfolio and multiple markets that are managed from the relevant virtual or physical Demand Forecasting hub. Education & Experience: Bachelors or master?s in supply chain or Industrial Engineer with Minimum 2-3 years relevant supply chain experience Demand/Supply/Logistics, ideally in a pharmaceutical environment Responsibilities: Specialist knowledge of Demand Forecasting, preferably managing strategic therapies/brands/market Manage the Demand Planning process across all categories Maintain a detailed knowledge of all components of the Demand Forecast, statistical baseline, promotion and repacking uplifts, and cannibalization effects Support the sales and marketing intelligence, new product introductions, consumption, stock in trade, and market data Ensure full volume and value alignment of market Demand Forecast Interpret the key trends impacting the market, sector, category, and brand performance Lead Demand Planning input into the key Market Core Commercial Cycle meetings and 3/1 planning cycle with responsibility for the delivery of a detailed volume budget Challenge the sales forecast and ensure that the volume and value forecast are aligned Facilitate alignment and verification of sell-out and Stock in trade evaluations Lead an effective product lifecycle management process Lead process to clear residual and slow-moving stocks within the commercial teams Partner with Finance on the definition of the financial plan Provide expert Demand Planning input into the Customer Supply Chain Lead and develop effective working relationships with in-Market Warehouse & Distribution, Customer Service, and Local Customization teams Lead Demand Planning expertise across the scope Share and agree with Medical Marketing the forecast for samples and align with the in-market Supply team regarding production Contact information: You may apply for this position online by selecting the Apply now button.
